Dear High Speed Hockey Member Families:
Welcome Back! We are delighted to re-open our doors January 31st, 2022!
As of January 4, 2022, The Province of Ontario’s Proof of Vaccination System requires all patrons to display the QR Code visible on your Provincially issued vaccine receipt. All persons 12 and older are required to be fully vaccinated prior to entering an indoor sporting and/or recreational facility.
Please note you must have received both vaccines 14 days prior to entering the facility.
Proof of vaccination is shown to the trainers in your unit before the commencement of the session.
Please follow the rules and be respectful and considerate of all patrons/families.
HSH will not tolerate any type of harassment of staff or our patrons. Our clients are predominately those under the age of 18, let’s keep them feeling safe and motivated during these hectic times.
If you are entering to tie skates or use the washrooms, you will NOT need to show proof of vaccination.
We are required to request proof of vaccination from:
Participants & Spectators aged 12+
Proof of Vaccination includes two items:
The QR Code shown on your Provincially issued vaccine receipt.
Photo Identification. Based on the Province of Ontario, a piece of identification that shows your name, DOB, photo, and signature. The permissible forms of identification are:
Birth certificate
Citizenship card
Drivers license
Canadian military identification card
Government-issued identification card
Health card
Indian status card/Indigenous Membership card
Passport
Canadian Permanent resident card
Like you, we are doing our best to honor the regulations provided by the Ministry of Health and Provincial Governments. The potential fines and levies imposed on our business for not complying are very substantial. While we understand individual preferences, the health and safety of our patrons and staff are of the utmost importance.
Pre-Facility Entry Participant Requirements
Skaters are permitted to enter 10-15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.
Skaters are required to enter the facility fully dressed with skate guards on.
Skaters are permitted to bring a mask to wear during their session.
Skaters are required to bring their own water bottle to training. Bottles left onsite will be disposed.
Entering HSH Facilities
Immediately upon entry, skaters are required to apply hand sanitizer.
Visual markers clearly showing the 6ft spacing between patrons is visible throughout the facility.
Skaters are not permitted to change and/or remove clothing onsite.
Entry & Facility Controls
The number of patrons allowable in the facility is inline with York Region Public Health’s protocols.
Parents, siblings are not permitted inside of the facilities before, during or after a session (pre-arranged special circumstances only).
Staff maintain a 95% contactless experience for patrons as they may need to help skaters put on harnesses.
Administrative functions are limited to Unit #3 to limit interaction points with training equipment and patrons.
All payments are made online via Email Money Transfer. Cash is not accepted.
HSH facilities are restricted to essential staff and registered skaters only. Drop ins will not be accommodated.
HSH maintains a phased single entry and exit point for all patrons and staff.
Social distancing markings and directional signage is clearly visible throughout each unit.
