This video show just some of the drills we do on the Blade. Incline training helps to develop a full leg extension, a wide stride angle and long efficient stride. Also shown are acceleration, agility, backward skating, and over-speed training drills. As skaters develop we into the stick to many of the drills. The skater with the stick started with us as a Minor Midget AA player and is now playing in the OHL.




This 7 year started out as a very weak skater playing local league hockey. He skated with straight legs taking very short strides. We improved his skating posture and stride length. (we worked on his shooting too!!). The player soon was noticed and called up to the select team where he dominated. In the spring he jumped 3 levels in hockey and made the AA team.
